George Urban graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in Physiology. He earned his medical degree in 1991 from the University of Illinois, and completed his residency at the University of Chicago/Lutheran General.

Dr. Urban holds academic appointments at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine and Rosalind Franklin Medical School. He's practiced in McHenry County since 1994 and is a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner FAA.

Dr. Urban is a member of the Illinois State Medical Society, American College of Physicians, American Medical Association and the McHenry County Medical Society.
